10 tips to get ready for vacation and enjoy it to the fullest

Experts are all of one opinion – the most stressful moment for most people is the end of the holidays and the return to work. This worries psychologists and doctors from all over the world, leading them to try to discover the right recipe to transform the "return to normality" into a more peaceful and joyful moment. However, for women there is another critical moment - preparing for the holidays and taking time off from work without feeling guilty.

First of all, to have as little as possible, you need to book your vacation in a serious, reliable company like Eurokoha and your vacation will be really enjoyable.

A group of British experts has drawn up a list that will help you prepare for departure, leaving anxiety and stress at home. The bottom line for this list is this: 40 percent of employees don't take all of their vacation days for fear of leaving too much on hold. Or not to put colleagues in difficulties. According to a study, a minimum of ten consecutive days are necessary to clear the brain and relax.

What to do? Follow these simple tips that will help you go on vacation efficiently and enjoy your vacation to the fullest, guilt-free and anxiety-free. And maybe they will help you to make the return as less difficult as possible.

1. Do not leave everything to the last moment. You say vacation, but you leave everything to the last moment. According to experts, not scheduling vacations on time can become a source of stress.

If you are not organized, you fear that something will go wrong and you risk postponing your departure day to complete unfinished business. The result may be that you postpone your vacation to complete professional commitments. Book a few months in advance, even at the cost of spending a little more.

2. Plan the details. The first thing you should do is include vacation days in your schedule; second, plan the details. Let co-workers know about your vacation days. That way, everyone will be aware of your departure and no one will dare ask you to postpone them. Among other things, the organization of colleagues' work is also simplified.

3. Work a little harder. Before you go on vacation, you should consider working a few extra hours to get things done on time. Answer all emails, make phone calls, schedule the weeks after you return to work – these are all essential things that will make you leave feeling relieved and come back without the anxiety of being overwhelmed with work when you return.

4.Give yourself permission to take a break. You need to put aside the wrong idea that you will cause trouble for your colleagues. Instead, think that you deserve a few days of rest and relaxation. The goal is to come back energized and more productive.

5. Respect colleagues who stay. In every company, vacations are organized in shifts. You must respect other people's holidays. When you come back you can share photos and your experience with them.

6. Stack the brain. A vacation isn't a vacation if you don't take your brain off work. When you go on vacation, it is advisable to turn off your cell phone and escape. And if possible, don't check your work email. When colleagues know that a person is "elusive", they don't even try to open problems for them.

7. Change habits. Vacation is not just a different place to spend some time, but an inner state. To really enjoy them, you need to change your pace and change your habits. It is advisable to do something new (any sport or hobby) to find peace with yourself again.

8. Choose the right destination. In order to relax and fully enjoy your vacation, you must choose the right destination. Don't choose the mountain if you hate hiking. Understand what you want and then choose a location that is in harmony with your needs.

9. Devote time to sports. It doesn't matter if you're lazy or the sporty type – it's easy to stay fit on holiday – there are plenty of activities you can do with friends. You don't have to make big sacrifices. Even a quarter of an hour would be enough choosing the activities you like. This is the best way to break away from the routine and not think about what is happening at work while you are on vacation.

10. Cultivate personal relationships. Vacations are the best time to meet new people or to dedicate yourself to your friends. We advise you to devote even more time to social life, surrounding yourself with people who inspire trust and sympathy.
