Basel

From the very beginning, the companies Eurokoha and Kosova Airlines have strived to be as close as possible to emigrants and to make their journey to their home country as easy as possible.

One of the cities with the most Albanian emigrants in Switzerland is Basel, from where Eurokoha and Kosova Airlines offer you daily flights from Pristina to Basel and back.

But what distinguishes Basel, which is also known as the "heart of Europe"?

Basel is a place of exciting contrasts, this city is geographically located in the heart of Europe. A city with historical buildings next to modern architecture. Where there is a new and dynamic arts scene alongside world-renowned museums. You simply have to experience Basel.

Basel is the oldest university town in Switzerland. The city's landmarks include the large market square with its town hall decorated in red sand and the late Romanesque-Gothic cathedral. On a walk through the old town you will see small boutiques, antique shops, but also modern designer shops. A visit to the "Läckerli Huus" is worthwhile to try the traditional Basel honey cake. The city, which is aware of tradition and open to the present, has some modern buildings by well-known architects such as Herzog & de Meuron, Mario Botta, Diener & Diener or Richard Meyer.

City of 40 Museums

Known as the city of 40 museums, Basel has the most museums in Switzerland.

Internationally renowned museums such as the Kunstmuseum Basel, the museum dedicated to the iron sculptor Jean Tinguely, the Fondation Beyeler and the Museum der Kulturen attract many visitors. Among other things, Basel is home to the symphony orchestra and the music theater, which presents international productions. And on the stages of Theater Basel, a wide range of classic and contemporary productions are shown.

Green City

Basel is a green city, the botanical garden, several parks and the banks of the Rhine invite you to relax and linger. And the Etosha house at the zoo offers spectacular insights into the Namibian savannah.

Widely regarded as Switzerland's cultural capital, Basel is a city where art is at every turn, whether you're strolling through the old town or visiting one of the almost 40 museums. In addition, there is also high-class modern architecture in Basel waiting to be discovered on a stroll through the city.

Conferences and Congresses

The central location, the first-class connection to public transport and the modern infrastructure make Basel a first-class trade fair and congress location. The Congress Center Basel, located in the heart of the city, is the largest and most modern congress center in Switzerland. Basel is located in the heart of Europe, on the Rhine.
